Selfridge Airshow Flying High

The Selfridge Airshow is finally here and we're going to have a good time this weekend. Fran's been working hard on the site all year (we design and host the site) and I know she's ready to see all the attractions she's been posting. So I guess our regular Friday Sessions with Canape-O-Trez will have to put on hold for a week, as the big Hangar Dance is tomorrow and we're going to shake a leg. The entertainment is "The British Invasion" band that cover (and look like) the Beatles. I hear they're pretty good. This year's show theme is in honor of Viet Nam vets, so it should be pretty cool.

Update to WCMS Product Release

It's been a while between posts, but I should be more active now that a project to convert a client's backoffice system is complete. Yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment and work in the trenches from time-to-time. Anyways, in between database conversions, I've managed to set up a new product offering from Mania. Called WebviewCMS, it is the solution many corporations will want, as it empowers them to create and control their own content while maintaining graphic integrity. As a unique data-driven, dynamic program, WebviewCMS is sure to be welcome in the marketplace. Now I just have to bring it to market. I put together the first prototype for a client, visit AskEnviroair.com for a taste of what's to come.

Enough advertising, I just wanted to drop a line to say I'm still alive and well.

Later, dDog

When you're right...You're right!

Well, I finally completed the first phase of the digiforum.org site and I very pleased. The phpwcms program worked like a charm. Next, is generating some traffic and support. The media content works great, especially embedded video (I serve this remotely from the digibands site), which opens and plays smoothly and quickly. It seems that we will be developing an entire program around the phpwcms platform so stand by for details.

Labor of Love Bears Fruits

No, I haven't turned to agriculture. But I have been doing some cultivating...digitally, that is. I have been trying to find the right format and platform to develop the long awaited digiForum.org Web site. The answer came with the the php-based content manaegent program phpwcms offered by Webview by mania.

So I have developed the prototype for the forum and I hope that the platform takes us we're we want to go. Seems to be an excellent Content Management System (CMS).

Decisions, Decisions...

Been trying to decide if we should do a live streaming show this weekend and finally made the decision to do a simulated-live show. I put a tentative date for this Saturday on the ONdigi calendar and we like to keep our show dates.

I plan to do an encore show using performances from past shows. I better get into the editing suite this Friday to put it together. I gotta dust off some marketing ideas for digibands and post on the site. See everyone there, check ONdigi for details.

Check out my first audio blog...pretty cool. We have to contrubute some music in this format. Stand by.

Later.
